Families looking for an lovely stay
The staff were friendly,, especially when they gifted us a bottle of wine just because our little daughter had her birthday. Very thoughtful. The location was key,, we walked to most tourist spots in 15 minutes,, didn’t need any public transport and the recommendations for dinner were spot on.
It wasn’t inexpensive,, but still worth it.

The cleanliness is exemplary, making it a pleasant environment.
I was disappointed to learn there were no breakfast provisions. The old-style lift was a hassle, especially after a long day of exploring. Additionally, the reception closed at 9 PM, which made me feel uneasy about security.

Comfortable room with excellent service
We had a really nice 4-night stay in a spacious room that allowed us to unpack comfortably. The moment we arrived, a lovely staff member even surprised us with chocolates and a bottle of bubbles for our honeymoon, which was such a sweet gesture. However, the bathroom was a bit cramped, which made our daily routines a bit tricky.

The Superior Double Room was spacious and had charming décor that blended rustic with modern. The bed was super comfy, which made it easy to relax after a day of exploring. I loved that they reached out on WhatsApp with recommendations! The air conditioning worked well, which was a lifesaver during the hot days. Just a heads up, there wasn’t much in terms of room amenities—like no coffee maker or extra cutlery, so keep that in mind if you need those. Overall, the room felt like a cozy retreat in the heart of the city.

The ideal location made it easy to explore major attractions, with many restaurants nearby for homestyle Japanese dishes. Staff were incredibly warm, timely in their responses, and helpful with local recommendations. However, the lift was small and inconvenient, especially after a day of sightseeing, and the reception closing early raised some security concerns. The room, while clean, lacked some basic amenities that would have enhanced comfort.
